Rochester Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy and evaluations that help students develop essential communication skills for learning and daily life. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, student-focused team.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy across a variety of speech and language areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare detailed reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
