This role involves working a 32.5-hour week throughout the full school year, focusing on an elementary caseload within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students to promote their functional independence and school participation. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel to develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Participate in meetings, evaluations, and consultations related to student needs and therapy services. Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to support fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills development. Qualifications: Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school environment. Strong understanding of developmental milestones and educational goals. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
