Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Profession: Therapy / Rehabilitation Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - K-12 Location: Ridgecrest, CA 93555 Duration: 40 Weeks (Full 2025-2026 School Year) Shift: Day - 5x7.5-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed Work Setting: In-Person Only Position Overview: A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to serve K-12 students in a public school setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing in-person services and hold a valid California SLP license . This opportunity offers a stable caseload and a collaborative school-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services Maintain timely documentation and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student communication goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Qualifications: Active California SLP license required CTC credential not required Must be able to provide in-person services (no remote options) Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills Additional Details: Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract Length: 40 weeks (2025-2026 School Year) Bill Rate Range: Competitive, based on experience
