Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support student communication development in an educational setting located in La Mesa, CA. This contract position offers the chance to utilize specialized skills to make a direct impact on student success through tailored speech and language interventions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment data. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Monitor and document student growth; modify treatment goals as necessary. Provide consultative services and training to school staff regarding communication strategies. Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies related to special education services. Desired Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes is preferred.
