Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a school-based contract position in Lawrence, KS. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students within the educational setting, supporting their communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Participate in school meetings and provide consultation to teachers and staff. Support end-of-school-year (EOSY) evaluations to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Desired Qualifications: Valid CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience delivering speech therapy services in a school environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational teams. Strong organizational and communication skills. Availability to work full-time during the school year with potential support for EOSY evaluations.
