Wages and Benefits $30.00 per hour; $1,000 hiring bonus after 3 months of employment; Generous paid time off, plus 10 paid holidays; competitive health, dental, and vision insurance; health savings account (HSA), and options for flexible spending accounts (FSA). There is employer paid basic life insurance with the option for additional coverage paid by the employee. The employer pays for Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and short and long-term disability insurance. Schedule This position is fully in-person and listed as full-time but can be flexible to be between 20 - 37.5 hours per week. A Typical Day in the Life A typical day as The Family Partnership s Pediatric Occupational Therapist provides an opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based pediatric evaluation and treatment for 0 6-year-old clients. Therapy services will be provided at The Family Partnership s East Lake Street site as well as local preschool sites in the context of local classrooms. Responsibilities will include the following: Selecting, administering, scoring, interpreting, and documenting appropriate standardized pediatric assessments. Providing quality, evidence-based, medically necessary occupational therapy services within AOTA and The Family Partnership standards. Documenting plans of care and daily progress in a timely and suitable manner in accordance with AOTA, DHS, and MDH guidelines. Managing and maintaining physician orders to keep all clients current. Submitting daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system. Consulting and collaborating with inter-disciplinary staff and parents. Discharging clients when they exit the program or meet maximal therapeutic potential. Who You Are You hold a current OT license in the state of Minnesota and maintain certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). You graduated from an accredited OT program with a master s degree or higher. You have at least 2 years of pediatric experience, or you demonstrate equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience. You are comfortable working with at-risk clients, clients who have experienced trauma, clients from diverse cultures and ethnicities, and clients from non-English speaking households. You are currently certified in CPR and First Aid (preferred). You have strong communication and organizational skills. You are flexible and adaptable. You have a valid driver s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet TFP s driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).
