DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct and consultative
occupational therapy to students as specified in the students IEP.
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Screen students informally to determine the need for or extent of
formal evaluation procedures.**\

2. Evaluate the OT needs of students when indicated and provide a
written report of results.**\
**
3. Consult with school personnel and outside members of the medical
community as necessary for placement and programming information.**\
**
4. Develop and implement IEP goals and objectives for students eligible
for OT services.**\
**
5. Adapt equipment used in the classroom to meet the individual
academic needs of the student.**\
**
6. Assist the classroom teacher in understanding student needs and
making recommendations for the adaptation of assignments or
activities when requested.**\
**
7. Attend IEPs, staffing\'s, reviews, etc. on assigned students.**\
**
8. Maintain compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and
regulations pertaining to special education services.**\
**
9. Maintain state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.**\
**
10. Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Exceptional
Student Services.**\
