We are currently looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team in Bergen County. The position would be responsible for providing speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings.
Responsibilities
Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers. Assesses and evaluates client for speech and language therapy needs and develops and implements appropriate plan of action in collaboration with the physician Documents all changes in client's condition and updates care plans and outcomes accordingly Identifies counseling needs and plans appropriate teaching strategies Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
Qualifications
Licensed Speech-Language pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community based experience preferred Strong computer skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid NJ drivers license
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $70,200 to USD $159,171.19. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
