Youthcare Outreach Mental Health Therapist
Depending on your experience your salary would be $84,090.16 to $86,090.16 (with an increase for groups, language skills, and having an SUDP/T). Monday-Friday In-Person 9am to 5pm (flexing hours to meet client and program needs)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Encourage and utilize individual strengths and capabilities while providing individual and group therapy which address the needs of the client within the context of the individual'smunity and program sites
Develop initial psychosocial assessments, problems lists, and treatment plans.
Write treatment notes, managed care documentation, reports, and summaries and document housing status as necessary for Ryther, YouthCare, and HMIS within their established electronic health records or data systems
Maintain case records in accordance with licensing, accreditation and agency.
May provide crisis services to clients and families.
Complete outreach activities in coordination with YouthCare and in collaboration with YouthCare's Outreach Coordinator
Provide the necessary training and support to ensure the use of best practices aligned with working with unhoused and unstably housed young people.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). Full licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
Minimum of two years experience working with children and youth
Skills in clinical assessment and treatment that is goal-oriented and solution-focused.
Acceptance and ability to work with individuals and families with a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, cultural and spiritual practices with the ability to a social justice and equity lens to all aspects of this work.
