Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to support students from early childhood through grade 12 in a K-12 school setting in Florissant, MO. This contracted position follows the normal school year calendar and focuses on providing interventions for students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering targeted speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication skills critical for academic and social success. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals is key in this role.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- CCC certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with early childhood through grade 12 populations
- Skilled in managing mild to moderate speech and language delays and disorders
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills for therapy sessions and documentation
