This role involves delivering high-quality speech therapy services to pediatric students, ensuring their communication skills are supported and developed within an educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide therapy sessions focused on pediatric speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies. Document and monitor student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to enhance accessibility and service delivery. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Experience working within healthcare and pediatric settings. Proficiency in teletherapy delivery. Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience. Previous school-based therapy experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Location: Elementary school in Paterson, New Jersey. : Leave coverage position. Contract duration.
