Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in school settings is advantageous
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams including Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs)
• Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
