Speech-Language Pathologist Full-Time, Non-School Year Contract
A K-12 educational setting in Yuba City, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services. This position involves carrying an elementary school caseload of 40-45 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individual goals and progress
- Conduct thorough assessments and testing to evaluate student needs
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with legal and educational guidelines
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Collaborate with school staff to support students communication development in the educational environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary settings
