Astria Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join Home Health our team! This is for our Sunnyside office. This is a full time role.

As the Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health position you will be responsible for providing treatment interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist based on the patients established goals and plan of care. You will:

Understand and adhere to established Agency policies and procedures
Provide physician prescribed physical therapy under a plan of care established by the Physical Therapist
Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient
Return the individual to optimum and productive level within the patients capabilities
Participate with all other health care personnel in patient care planning
Perform all skilled procedure as ordered by physician and according to the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist
Consult with Physical Therapist regarding change in treatment
Instruct patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living
Participate in in-service programs and presents in-service programs as assigned
Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities as assigned
Attend patient care conference as scheduled
Prepare medical records, progress notes and updates care plans for each patient visit in a timely manner as per Agency policy
Perform services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist
Assist in preparing clinical and progress notes
Participate in educating the patient and family
Perform maintenance therapy services under a maintenance program established by a qualified therapist, when acting within the therapy scope of practice defined by applicable state licensure laws
Perform other duties as assigned
Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
Adhere to the core values and standards of the organization.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
• Current Washington license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Oral and written fluency in the English language

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
