Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Job Opening: Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - School-Based (Sweetwater, TN) Location: Sweetwater, Tennessee Position Type: Part-Time, Contract Duration: Full 2025-2026 School Year Hours: 5-10 hours per week Sweetwater Schools are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide services to students with physical therapy needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This is a great opportunity to work in a school setting with a consistent and manageable caseload. Caseload Overview: Total Students: 14 Service Frequency: 7 students - weekly 4 students - bi-weekly (2x/month) 3 students - monthly Session Duration: 30 minutes per student Responsibilities: Deliver PT services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Follow IEP goals and treatment plans Record session notes and progress accurately Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student outcomes Requirements: Current Tennessee PTA license Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Compliance with school district background checks and credentialing To Apply: Please send your resume and availability to .
