Travel Speech Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care setting with at least 1 year of pediatric experience and current ASHA certification.

• Work in an acute care hospital setting with both inpatient primary assignments and some outpatient responsibilities
• Serve Trauma Level 2 patient population including adults for acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatients
• Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with occasional weekend rotation every 8 weeks during a 13-week contract
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system; EMR training will be provided
• No holiday shifts required
• Dress code is business casual
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• This position only accepts travelers residing outside an 80-mile radius
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatment for acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient populations
• Orientation includes hospital onboarding, department-specific, and Epic EMR training
• Weekend coverage required only 12 times during a 1316 week rotation
• No holiday coverage is required
• Past employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to being eligible for consideration

• Minimum of 1 year clinical SLP experience required, including at least 1 year in a pediatric setting
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active North Dakota SLP license required for consideration, if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
