Short Term Sub: Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)- Districtwide

Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a Short Term Substitute COTA to join the team from 8/25/25 through 12/15/25. 1.Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). 2.Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an associates degree.3.Current and valid Rhode Island state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in Rhode Island. 4.Ability to know and utilize technology in the teaching and learning process;5.Experience working and consulting with therapists, teachers, school administrators of children with diverse learning and emotional needs;6.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the committee may find appropriate and acceptable.7.Strong communication skills, especially regarding working with all stakeholders and outside agencies.8.Proven experience in data collection and progress monitoring in occupational therapy goals and systems.9.Proficiency or agreed training in web based special education programs and records management systems.10.The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
