Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Irvine, California

A temporary opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatric and school-based services. This contract position supports a K-12 educational setting in Irvine, CA, covering a leave of absence. The ideal candidate will bring both clinical knowledge and a passion for advancing students' communication skills in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address students' communication needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain clear, compliant documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working in healthcare and pediatric settings preferred
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
• Previous employment or clinical experience within K-12 school systems is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Duration: Contract position covering a leave assignment
