A school district in Fort Myers, FL is seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming school year. These contract positions offer full-time, 37.5 hours per week schedules with caseload assignments tailored to individual strengths. Candidates will have the opportunity to work within a PreK-12 setting serving a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and interventions to students from PreK through 12th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to student success
- Adapt services to meet the changing needs of the caseload while supporting student communication development
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license and either Department of Education (DOE) or Department of Health (DOH) licensure
- CCC, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP certification highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential for effective collaboration and caseload management
