A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Stayton, OR. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to facilitate students academic success and social interaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student speech and language needs
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and supports
