A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Clinician in Training is needed for a K-12 school setting in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students in achieving their communication goals through individualized therapy and collaboration with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for special education services.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification or license eligible for California.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or current enrollment in a CFY program.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12.
- Knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology practices and IDEA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
