A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 educational setting located in Cullman, AL. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy services targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Alabama
- Enrollment in or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in school-age children
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
