- Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to design integrated care plans.
- Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to sustain progress between therapy sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Maintain up-to-date, precise documentation following state, federal, and organization protocols.

Education and Certification Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not ASHA certified.
Professional Credentials
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
