This part-time, contract position is located in Waltham, MA, and spans the upcoming school year. The role involves working closely with occupational therapists, educators, and families to help students develop the skills necessary for academic success and daily functioning. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs Support therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist Document student progress and maintain compliance with school policies and regulations Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create effective treatment plans Help facilitate adaptive equipment use and classroom modifications Desired Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to engage effectively with children across a wide age range (K-12) Knowledge of therapeutic strategies that support academic and developmental goals Location: Waltham, Massachusetts
