School Occupational Therapist

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A part-time occupational therapy opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year, offering 20 hours per week supporting students in grades K4 through 5th grade within a community-focused educational setting located in New Berlin, WI. This contract position will primarily serve a caseload with diverse needs, including goals related to self-regulation, fine motor skills, and executive functioning. The ideal candidate will have experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings, with a strong understanding of child development and the ability to tailor interventions to meet individual student needs. Key Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant school-based experience Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery and home health OT is a plus Ability to address a variety of student needs, including self-regulation, fine motor development, and executive functioning support Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other team members Strong organizational skills for caseload management within a school environment Responsibilities will include assessing students' occupational therapy needs, developing and implementing targeted intervention plans, monitoring progress, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Supportive documentation and compliance with school policies are also expected.
