Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract Transform Lives Through Virtual Speech Therapy Our expanding remote education network is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential communication services to students throughout Ohio. This position combines the convenience of remote work with the rewarding experience of helping students overcome communication challenges in virtual learning environments. Position Details Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll manage a diverse caseload of approximately 50-60 students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. This remote position allows you to deliver specialized speech and language services through cutting-edge virtual platforms while maintaining professional autonomy and flexible scheduling. Primary Responsibilities Assess students' speech and language abilities using virtual evaluation tools
Create individualized therapy programs targeting specific communication goals
Deliver engaging therapy sessions through interactive virtual platforms
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly
Collaborate with general education teachers and special education teams
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
Provide family education and support for home practice activities
Maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations
Required Credentials Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Valid Ohio speech-language pathologist license
Minimum 2 years school-based experience
Experience with virtual therapy delivery preferred
Proficiency in assistive technology and digital communication tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Student Population You'll work with students presenting various communication needs including phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, social communication difficulties, and augmentative communication requirements. Our virtual model serves students in urban, suburban, and rural communities, providing access to specialized services regardless of geographic location.
