Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT

American Traveler is seeking an RRT with at least 2 years of NICU and pediatric experience and active IN license for a night shift role with required floating across multiple units.

• Work in NICU, pediatric, and adult intensive care settings within a hospital
• Night shifts are 4x12 hours (17:30 to 06:00), with weekends and holiday coverage required
• Floating between NICU, PEDS acute care, and adult acute care is mandatory
• Use of respiratory equipment such as Hamilton G5 and Philips V60
• Cerner is the charting system used
• Duties include airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, arterial blood gases, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP care
• Bronchoscopy experience preferred
• Must float between units and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off is auto-approved; additional days require facility approval
• 12-month separation required for former PERM or PRN employees before reapplying as a traveler
• Scrubs or dress code details not specified

• Current IN or compact license required; license must be in hand if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU and pediatric and/or adult acute care settings
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC
• COVID and Flu vaccination required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
• Two supervisor references required
• First-time travelers are accepted
