Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Plainfield, Illinois

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Plainfield, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from August 14, 2025, through May 29, 2026, and is scheduled for 35 hours per week onsite. The role focuses on providing services within Cooperative Programming for students in early childhood through 8th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in early childhood and K-8 grades.
• Work within a Cooperative Programming model to support diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement in the state.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience in pediatric healthcare, school-based settings, and completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to work onsite with flexibility and professionalism.
