Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Specialized SLP Opening - Danville, IL Area Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support a 5th-6th grade caseload in a school district near Danville, Illinois. The role is scheduled for the full 2025-2026 academic year, running from August 14, 2025, to May 27, 2026. The caseload includes approximately 25-30 students, primarily those with autism and Down syndrome. This position is ideal for an SLP who has experience with or a strong interest in working with students who have specialized communication needs. Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to 5th and 6th grade students Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development Implement individualized speech-language goals based on student needs Collaborate with special education teachers, support staff, and families Monitor and document progress using data-driven practices Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Illinois SLP license required prior to start date ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered Experience working with students with autism and/or Down syndrome preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, throughout the school year Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this position, or any other positions you see on the Soliant Health website.
