A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an early childhood school, serving pediatric and school-aged students. This role focuses on supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a Pre-K setting, providing targeted speech and language therapy.
Location: Somerville, MA
Schedule: Full-time, staff hours 7:45 AM - 1:30 PM; student sessions 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Caseload: 6-8 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to Pre-K students with ASD
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support communication goals
- Maintain documentation and comply with program requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license with experience in pediatrics and school-based settings
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders related to ASD in young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
