Speech Pathology - Lees Summit, MO

A K-12 public school in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the upcoming school year. This is a contracted position designed to support students across all grade levels within the district.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with school policies and state regulations
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and continuing education as required

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license for school practice
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work independently
