This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract position within a K-12 educational setting. The role is based in Morgan Hill, CA, serving a TK-6th grade caseload at a charter school for the 2025-2026 school year. The position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week and involves providing specialized speech-language services to young students in an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
- Familiarity with typical SLP duties including assessment, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services and work as an itinerant therapist is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students TK-6th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor and report student progress regularly
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student development
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to speech therapy services
