Job Overview:
This role is for a dedicated Physical Therapist who will contribute to improving the lives of individuals requiring physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. The position involves delivering personalized care across various settings, including skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. The successful candidate will join a team focused on restoring hope and positively impacting patient recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing patient needs comprehensively.
* Developing individualized recovery plans based on patient assessments.
* Delivering effective physical therapy treatments.
* Addressing the holistic needs of each patient as an individual.
* Designing programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
* Adapting to diverse patient needs and various work settings.
* Collaborating with peers and making appropriate referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educating patients and caregivers on skills necessary to promote independence and productivity.
Requirements:
* Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
* A Master's degree in Physical Therapy, OR
* A Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, OR
* A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy coupled with 5 years of progressively responsible physical therapy experience.
* For degrees earned outside of the U.S., the degree must be evaluated as the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
