Speech Therapist CFY

Reporting to the Director of Physical Medicinethe Licensed Speech Pathologist and/or CFY/RPE directs and administers SpeechTherapy agents and techniques in a manner to assist in the rehabilitation of peoplewith functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallow. Includedis the ability to properly receive orders, review medical records, test, andevaluate, develop treatment plans, and administer therapy. The positioninvolves effective evaluation, documentation, and communication of medicalinformation . Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program. Experience with neurologically impaired persons. At least one year of experience in rehabilitation with adult speech/language-impaired populations is preferred CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Current California Speech Therapy license or eligible for CFY Current CPR certification.
