Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time | Solano, California Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Caseload: Approximately 40-65 students, ages PreK-12 Setting: On-site only (No VOCO/teletherapy) Support: Strong SLPA available Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Solano, CA , for the full 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position serving a diverse caseload of approximately 40-65 students across PreK through 12th grade with various disabilities. You'll work closely with teachers, specialists, and a strong SLPA to support students' communication needs and help them thrive in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication needs Conduct assessments and write comprehensive reports Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Collaborate with educators, specialists, and parents to support student success Supervise and guide a supportive SLPA Utilize AAC and PECs strategies when appropriate Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state standards Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California SLP License or eligibility ASHA CCCs preferred, but CFs may be considered School-based experience strongly preferred Experience with AAC devices and PECS highly desirable Strong collaboration and communication skills Comfortable working on-site in a school environment (no VOCO/remote work)
