This opportunity seeks Occupational Therapists to serve K-12 students within public schools, focusing on providing therapeutic support to enhance student development and success. Therapists will work collaboratively with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each students unique needs.
Location: Riverview, Florida
Position Type: Contract, August 4th, 2025 May 29th, 2026
Caseload: Approximately 40-50 hours of direct therapy per month, with additional time allocated for documentation and related workload responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and carry out individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students
- Assess and monitor student progress to adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers and parents to support student development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding therapeutic strategies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for the state of Florida
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings, preferably K-12
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel and families
- Ability to manage caseload consistently and efficiently throughout the school year
