Im partnering with a supportive school district near Athens, TN thats looking to add a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to their team for the upcoming school year. This is a very part-time, on-site position which is ideal for a PTA whos passionate about supporting student mobility and helping them reach their full potential in and out of the classroom.

• Part Time (approx. 1 hour and 37 minutes per week), on-site school-based position

• Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

• Support students with a variety of physical challenges and developmental needs

• Help students build strength, coordination, and independence throughout their school day

• Assist in carrying out individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Support students in achieving motor skill goals through therapeutic exercises and functional activities

• Maintain accurate progress notes and contribute to student reports and IEP meetings

• Collaborate with PTs, teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive care

• Promote safety and encourage confidence in students across school environments

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Tennessee

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-focused mindset

• A heart for working with children and helping them grow through movement
