Position Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supports student success by evaluating, identifying, and treating speech and language disorders that impact educational performance. Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, the SLP conducts comprehensive evaluations, contributes to the MET and IEP process, develops individualized goals, and delivers services aligned to students' needs. The SLP is responsible for supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in accordance with state and federal requirements. The SLP may be involved in staff training, Medicaid billing, and school-wide initiatives, as appropriate. This position requires strong collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers to promote carryover and generalization of communication skills across school environments. All duties must be performed in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Education/Training:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Arizona Department of Health Services license - Speech-Language Pathologist required
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Eligibility to supervise SLPAs required
(Note: Clinical Fellows and Speech-Language Technicians are not eligible due to supervision requirements)
Two (2) years school therapy experience preferred.
Experience supervising SLPAs preferred.
