Occupational Therapist School Setting in New Bern, NC

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across K-12 in a school setting located in New Bern, North Carolina. This full-time contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student development and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs to enhance their academic and functional performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' strengths and challenges.
• Document progress and update therapy goals regularly to align with students educational objectives.
• Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) sessions.

Qualifications:

• Current valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working in a school environment with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families.
• Ability to adapt treatment strategies to meet diverse student needs.
