Speech-Language Pathologist in Salem, IL

A part-time position is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at a middle school setting in Salem, Illinois. The role spans the school year from August 13th to May 20th, offering 20-30 hours per week on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to guide treatment plans
• Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate actively in IEP meetings to collaborate on student progress
• Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices such as iPads and the "lamp app" to support communication

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License (IL SLP-CCC) mandatory
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
