A part-time position is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at a middle school setting in Salem, Illinois. The role spans the school year from August 13th to May 20th, offering 20-30 hours per week on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to guide treatment plans
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to collaborate on student progress
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices such as iPads and the "lamp app" to support communication
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License (IL SLP-CCC) mandatory
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
