School Occupational Therapist

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support in a K-12 school setting. This position involves working with students to improve their functional abilities and support their educational progress during a leave contract. Location: Quincy, MA Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records Providing direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or group settings Desired qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet individual student needs Familiarity with school-based therapy regulations and procedures This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' development and success during the school year.
