Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) or clinical fellowship year (CFY) opportunity supports K-12 students in a school setting in Lafayette, IN, from August 5 through May 22. The contract position averages 35 to 37.5 hours per week, providing a dynamic environment for speech-language therapy within a public school system. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess student needs. Prepare clear, detailed reports following assessments and observations. Develop and maintain individualized education program (IEP) objectives tailored to each student. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and peers to discuss student progress and identify support strategies. Qualifications: Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) teacher's license, or eligibility to obtain both. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
