Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Howell, Michigan

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support to elementary students in grades 2 through 5. This position offers the opportunity to work in a school setting, servicing a diverse group of children under Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The role begins on August 25, 2025, and concludes on June 11, 2026, encompassing a full school year contract with a 37.5-hour workweek. Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of students Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEP goals Conduct assessments and document progress according to state and federal guidelines Utilize teletherapy tools as needed to support flexible service delivery Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and student outcomes Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school settings Familiarity with teletherapy methods and platforms Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting elementary-aged children Ability to engage and motivate students in a dynamic learning environment Location: Grand Blanc area, servicing students in an elementary school setting This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills and academic achievement.
