  • Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to continue their progress beyond clinical encounters.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care transitions.

Qualifications

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
  • Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Licensure and Certifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
