MaineGeneral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role (4 days/week) offers a unique balance of autonomy, clinical collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults regaining their independence.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients physical therapy needs

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions

  • Document subjective, objective, and assessment findings and monitor progress toward goals

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and equipment

  • Collaborate on discharge planning and connect patients with ongoing supports and adaptive tools

  • Supervise and delegate care to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with licensure standards

  • Work with a high degree of autonomy while being part of a supportive clinical team

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist in the State of Maine

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in working with older adults in a skilled nursing rehab setting

  • Passion for helping others regain mobility, function, and confidence
