Description

• Deliver targeted therapy interventions focused on enhancing speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, caregivers, and families, to ensure cohesive care outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce therapeutic progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the recovery process.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in your field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
