Pediatric Speech Therapist in Edison, NJ

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This role offers the opportunity to provide teletherapy and in-person services to approximately 55 students. Location: Edison, NJ Duration: August 11 through end of October (possible extension to mid-November) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day Setting: Elementary school environment Key Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations Knowledge of speech therapy in healthcare and educational settings Familiarity with teletherapy methods for speech-language services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable Background in school-based SLP services preferred Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations Provide therapy services through teletherapy and/or in-person as appropriate This position provides a valuable opportunity to impact a diverse group of students in an elementary school setting.
