Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support elementary school students in Beach Park, IL, for the entire school year on a contract basis. This role offers guaranteed hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's communication development within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress reports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations Monitor and adjust therapy techniques to ensure effectiveness and engagement Qualifications: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Valid SLP School certification Experience working in elementary school settings preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies for children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to supporting student success and growth Location: Beach Park, IL (Elementary School) This position is ideal for a dedicated SLP seeking a stable, full-time role during the school year with guaranteed hours.
