Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs to establish individualized therapy strategies aimed at meeting their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Activities: Apply proven methodologies to improve patients motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to support ongoing therapy progress in their daily lives.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure that patients remain aligned with their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Completion of the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
