Summary : OAA Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic physical therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for the direct supervision of clinical operations and functions related to and including evaluation, treatment, education, and testing to improve quality of life and allow patients to maximize their functional abilities.

This valuable team member will join a dynamic group of therapists within our unique facility to provide care for professional, high school and youth athletes, as well as a diverse working and elderly population.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Possesses high level clinical decision making.
  • Develops and implements a rehabilitation treatment program including but not limited to the use of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic activities in pursuit of individual patient goals.
  • Demonstrates high level communication skills with the ability to work with patients, family members, physicians, and staff to enhance care.
  • Documents patient treatment within 24 hours in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Billing of treatment provided within 24 hours of care.
  • Demonstrates efficient revenue cycle management with identification of process improvements and implementation as needed for optimal clinical practice.
  • Collaborates and communicates with colleagues in a safe and supportive manner.
  • Able to appropriately order durable medical equipment to enable patient achievement of personal goals.
  • Participates openly and honestly in staff meetings, particularly surrounding issues paramount to patient care development and delivery.
  • Must be able to handle physical workload
  • Assists with other duties as outlined by the manager
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

  • Bachelor’s Required
  • Masters and/or Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License. Maintain current CPR and AED certification.
